Mira Lagos is located in Grand Prairie near the Peninsula on Joe Pool Lake. With a setting just five miles south of I-20, it affords instant access to all the business, shopping and entertainment destinations in Dallas, Fort Worth and the Mid-Cities. Hwy. 360, just west of the community offers a straight shot to the Ballpark at Arlington, Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor while Lone Star Park, with its world-class horse racing, is a few miles north.

Driving Directions:

From I-20, exit Great Southwest Parkway to Lakeridge. Right on England Parkway.
From Highway 360, drive south on Highway 360, exit East Broad Street to East Broad Parkway.

Grand Prarie

Grand Prairie incorporated as a city in 1909.

Joe Pool Lake

Joe Pool Lake is set among the rolling hills of south Grand Prairie. Fishing, boating, swimming and skiing are popular here. The lake�s Lynn Creek Park features boat ramps, picnic sites, beaches, volleyball, a playground, restrooms and loads of natural beauty. The lake�s parks offer visitors a grand experience � clean beaches, shaded trails and ideal camping. Loyd Park offers cabins, wooded camp sites, trails, showers and restrooms. On the north shore, just off Lake Ridge Parkway, Lynn Creek Marina features boat slips, rentals, boat ramps and fishing supplies for the angler. Adjacent to the marina, the Oasis � a floating restaurant � overlooks the waters of the lake.

  • The Rangers Ballpark in Arlington is the home of the Texas Rangers major league baseball team. The ballpark is fan- and player-friendly venue with modern amenities that Rangers fans hadn�t seen in more than 20 years of play in Arlington Stadium. Outside the park, visitors can wander up Nolan Ryan Expressway and stroll along the Rangers Walk of Fame, reading about each team in franchise history on the brick path beneath them. The ballpark is Adjacent to Six Flags over Texas on the west side of the amusement park at the northwest corner of East Randol Mill Road and Ballpark Way.
